Long Gone Legends is a webcomic created by Satellite, also known as Tiilde.ath or TertiaryApocalypse online. The comic itself was posted to Tapas back in late 2022, but the creation dates back to 2020. It is a paranormal and coming of age story that follows a group of 6 teenagers in a town called "Burke's Point", an area with a supernatural history and local legends. The comic explores cryptids.
The comic started out as a "Sanders Sides" AU, or alternate universe. Sanders Sides is a webseries created in 2016 by the youtuber Thomas Sanders. It follows (character) him in life through a set of vlogs showing him and his singular personality, separated into parts, or "sides", debating. It discusses ethical and emotional struggles. The original AU was called "TS Wanderlust", with the town being called "Shadow Valley". It was then turned into it's own original universe, called "Wandering Spirits", before changing its name for a second time to what we now know as LGL. It hardly has anymore connection to Sanders Sides.
The comic has 4 episodes on Tapas, starting with a prologue, and then leading up to the character's first day back at school. It was last updated in April of 2023 and hasn't had any more updates, due to the author wanting to rework the entire story.

Florence Seong (HE/IT) :: Florence is a 16 year old who has lived in Burke’s Point for a majority of his life. He lives with his adoptive family, with his sibling, Cameron. It’s neutral on supernatural ideas, but suspects it can see more than the average person… Burke’s Point feels like home to it.
Cameron Seong (THEY/SHE/HAUN) :: Cam is a 17 year old who was adopted and moved to Burke’s Point to start kindergarten. She always struggled to fit in. Cam is a believer in the supernatural, because haun can quite literally see ghosts, and living in Burke’s Point has only boosted this ability, since the small town has a high concentration of ghosts.
Lukah Hofwegen (HE/HIM) :: Lukah is a 16 year old believer who spends most of his time cryptid hunting, convinced that there is more to Burke’s Point than meets the eye. He has lived in Burke’s Point all his life with his sister Daphne.
Jaime Perrault (HE/SHE) :: Jaime is a 16 year old who has lived in Burke’s Point since he was 3, making friends as a child, but needing to stop due to grades becoming more important. She is struggling with the need to be a perfect student. He is a skeptic.
Victor Holt (HE/HIM) :: Vic is 17 year old whose parents passed at the age of 5, leaving him and his younger sister to his grandparents. He is a believer of the supernatural and enjoys his time in Burke’s Point.
Melvin Franz (HE/THEY) :: Mel is a 17 year old who has lived in Burke’s Point for less than 2 years, moving after their parents got divorced. He’s moved around his entire life; Burke’s Point is different than any place they’ve lived. Also he’s the best & coolest character in the entire series btw believe me on that
Burke's Point is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, in Northern California. It's a small town surrounded by thick trees with a population of approximately 1,589 people. It has a Mediterranean climate, or a dry-summer and a wet-winder. It usually gets around 3 feet of snow in the winder and the occassional thunderstorm in the summer.
The town was founded in 1849, during the Gold Rush, and therefore was a mining town. In modern days, the town is now known for their farming.
The town has one elementary school, Joel Haynes Memorial Elementary School, and a school that conjoins middle and high, Kelly School.
There’s a few things to do when visiting Burke’s Point: Do not hike. You can check out the public pool! Do not hike. You can also rent out a bike to ride around the small town. Do Not Hike.
